PERI solution

PERI provided a safety screen solution at Pendle Hill to allow for a new platform structure to be built over a live metro railway line.
Three sections of safety screens are to be installed over three separate shutdown weekends.
1st section 13m long and 2nd & 3rd sections 11m long have already been supplied by PERI.

Plywood was provided and attached to the screens for about 2.5m in height.
Plywood for platforms was provided as well.

All safety screens were supported from underneath the pre-cast planks.

Three levels of working platforms each 1.5m wide were allowed for.
